Position Overview
The next ParaCore Design & Branding Ninja (or Ninjette) will have a sweet opportunity to expand their web design skills, guide branding discussions, implement brand identity, submerge themselves in user interface theory and canvas a wide variety of design related responsibilities.
ParaCore is a fast growing contract company that also partners and runs companies in-house. If any of that sounds interesting to you, this might be your spot.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Design Ninjas
- Design innovative and custom solutions for websites and print collateral
- Lead branding discussions and discovery meetings
- Create identity packages including logos and branding guidelines
- Advise and implement user experience and user flow best practices
- Create wireframes and digital prototypes
- Design print collateral
- Modify, customize and improve template designs
Required Black Belt Skills
- 2+ years of experience creating effective and beautiful designs
- Must be able to work in a collaborative and team environment
- Ability to participate in client meetings and interface with clients effectively
- Comfort working in the Adobe Create Suite
- Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
- Understand principles of website, mobile and digital design in general
- Ability to create complex sitemaps, wireframes & prototypes
- Strong understanding of typography
- Strong understanding of user experience and user flow principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Deep understanding of web design and user experience disciplines and principals (typography, composition, information architecture, color, animation, consistency, usability, etc.)
- Ongoing interest in learning and developing online trends
- Encompass strong communication, coordination, scheduling, collaboration skills, and the ability to stay highly organized
- Ability to defend our office from attacks using nunchucks, bow, sword or sais
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal or other CMS design patterns
- Flash design
- Formal design degree

Position Overview
The next Killer PHP Developer will be responsible for supporting existing website projects, developing new projects and being an all around killer developer. Out killer team prides ourselves on the quality of our work, advanced systems integration and creating user experiences that are measurable, beautiful and effective.
The ideal candidate must display excellent development and communications skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment as well as possess the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for being Killer
- Develop new web applications and websites
- Maintain, enhance and upgrade existing websites
- Conduct user interface testing
- Execute browser compatibility testing
- Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time site updates
- Update website content, images, links, files, etc
- Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn
- Attend client meetings to gather website specifications and functional requirements
Required Kill Skills
- Excellent skills in PHP
- Excellent skills in MySQL.
- Strong understanding of Javascript & jQuery
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS & HTML5
- Exceptional attention to detail in all facets (development, design, etc)
- Ability to work additional hours/special projects as needed
- Nunchuku skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills
Highly Preferred Specialties
- Individuals demonstrating the following skills will be given highest priority:
- Advanced Google Analytics Integration and Reporting
- Advanced Search Engine Optimization
- Experience managing projects and interfacing with clients
- Experience integrating various web systems and API integrations
- Implementing A/B Testing analysis
- Strong understanding of user interface concepts and best practices
Preferred Kill Skills
- Preference will be given to those who possess the following skills:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience
- Linux based operating systems and command line operations
- Apache web server
- Previous experience with Wordpress, Joomla, Cake PHP, Drupal or other development frameworks
- Git repository system
- Mobile Development
- Extensive knowledge of SEO
- Flash video/animation experience
- Photoshop or Illustrator experience
- Social Media integration and associated development
- Experience working with Apple products
